WEATHER
Weather in Scotland is never predictable! It may be warn and sunny; it may be cold and wet. Wet weather gear is essential in Scotland at all times of the year.
TRAVEL
Glasgow Airport (30 minutes)
Prestwick Airport (30 minutes)
Edinburgh Airport (1-2 hours)
There are very good railway links to Largs from all three airports. However hiring a car is highly recommended for sight-seeing in the area.

INTERNATIONAL CLAN GATHERING 2009
Scotland is planning an International Gathering of the Clans to be held at Edinburgh Castle on July 25 and 26, 2009. There will also be a Clan tent for you to visit in order to meet other society members.
